Marion County’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Commission work throughout the year to plan these events which not only honor the Baptist minister and Nobel Peace Prize winner who championed civil rights and justice through non-violent means. This premier annual event is always heavily publicized with signage, posters, banners and media coverage thus organizations and businesses are afforded the opportunity to promote their endeavors by purchasing booths, sponsoring specific events and /or showcasing their wares in the parade, on the field and onstage.
